BeCool is first Paul Abraham .
Music is a story that goes back to his adolescence. A paternal choice which will finally impose itself as the great passion of his life. He started in legendary Parisian clubs, such as: Le golf Drouot, La Taverne de l'Olympia, le Gibus, le Carré Blanc, and many others, the list is long, then in Europe, with different musicians of all origins. musical... Guitarist, singer, performer with a hoarse and melodious voice, his guitar playing is filled with warmth, beautiful melodies, love and freedom. His influences are: Beatles, J. Hendix, CSN & Y, Muddy Water, Bach, and a few others.
Kris T : bass player, singer and performer with a warm voice, began her career at a very young age as a backing vocalist and dancer in musical TV shows. Then a few years later, we find her as a solo singer and bassist with the groups: “ Black Shoes” and “Fair Trade”. His influences are: RnB, Mozart, A. Franklin, Nina Simone, M. Jackson, Beatles, etc...
In 2003, his two met on the road to concerts. Kriss T joins the group and they put their suitcases in Occitania. These two will no longer leave each other musically. Since then, BeCool performs everywhere between France and England where their music is highly appreciated. The main problem of the group remains to retain musicians. Paul Abrahams, being fed up with the incessant struggles with the bassists who follow one another, offers Kriss T to take the place for the time of a concert by learning the hard way in a few hours the bass lines of the pieces to be played. She turns out to learn at lightning speed by replacing at short notice the bass player who failed on the day of the concert. Kriss T quickly takes a liking to the instrument then finally adds a string to his bow.
She officially becomes the bassist/singer of the group “BeCool”. His bass playing is sweet, groovey and above all melodious.
Accomplices, they will unite their musical skills to compose and co-write this opus in English. A work that will take several years to be refined to the requirements of its creators. Paul Abraham and Kriss T is a musical synergy. They define their music as Cool Pop beyond all definitions already existing in the musical environment.
The creation of their recording studio "Underground Records" an imperative, because they want to be free, autonomous and independent. Once the studio is operational, they record live and in just 4 days this opus in analog mode, The album “Sitting on a Cloud” finally sees the light of day in 2016!
In 2019, BeCool presented the two albums "Sitting on a Cloud" and "The Runner" to the public at the Carcassonne Festival on July 13, 2019 on the Carnot stage.
Their choice of distribution is directed towards vinyl exclusively excluding download sales on web platforms. A choice that is strategic in relation to their musical style. These two do not conceive it otherwise. This album "Sitting on a Cloud" opens the imagination, transports you to the 60s / 70s with these particular sounds that make you travel. For fans of his years there, this is very good news!
In 2020, the COVID 19 year will be white. BeCool puts its time to good use and prepares a second album: "The Runner", different from the first and just as amazing.
BeCool wants to introduce its album to the public and is looking for programmers. He approached VOX POPULI Hérault, association of promotion and diffusion, in connection with the professionals in Occitania but also in France. The group is available for the programming of halls and festivals from now on.
The BeCools have already co-written no less than 10 albums, all different, keeping the same colors and the same spirit.
